Who am I?
I am a graduate of the Art Institute of California, SF with a BS in Game Art and Design. For the past two years I have been engaged at Locomotive Games and Mass Media, involved in the design of several unannounced titles being made for the Nintendo Wii, X-Box 360 and Playstation 3.
What kind of games do I like?
I have a wide interest in a variety of genres. I love Mario, especially 2d Mario. The Wii is my FAVORITE console ever. I keep a place in my heart for classic PC games like Half-Life, System Shock 2, Simcity, Starcraft, and X-com. Currently I'm playing Monster Hunter 3 (and hating it).
What other interests do I have?
I love art in just about every form it can exist. I paint, draw, and sculpt among other creative ventures. I also compose music and play the piano by ear. I like sports such as ultimate frisbee, basketball, and flag football.
What/who is Mortono?
Mortono is the name of a character I've written. He is a part of the main plot in my current legendarium. It is the name of my website for two reasons: one, John Giordano was already taken. Two, it's short and gives me a little something to talk about every time somebody asks me what it is.
